It’s been an exciting past couple days on the South Island, as the long-awaited, 11-court, outdoor pickleball hub at Topaz Park in Victoria opened to the public last Friday. 🏓 Scroll down to learn more.

Berwick RC/UVic Women’s Tournament celebrates another year of success
Berwick Retirement Communities and the University of Victoria Vikes teamed up with the Victoria Regional Pickleball Association (VRPA) to host the Berwick RC/UVic Women’s Tournament 2026 on April 18 at the University of Victoria’s CARSA gym in Victoria, BC.

Pickleball Canada Announces Nationwide League Play Pilot Project
The league will follow a three-tiered structure, beginning at the club level. The first stage will consist of local leagues, where players compete against others within their club over a 12-week season. At the conclusion of this period, clubs will select a team to represent their club in inter-club competition.
