Welcome to this week’s edition of the Vancouver Island Pickleball Newsletter!

The holiday season is fast approaching, and so are several Island pickleball tournaments, including “Pickle for Hunger” taking place in November ✨. A great story on pickleball’s positive impact on a Powell River player, and an article worth checking out that digs into Indoor vs. Outdoor shoes from Racket & Runners.

One last reminder, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our Official Paddle, Le Cornichon, is contributing $25 to Rethink Breast Cancer with each paddle purchase. More info below. 💕

We are off to have another coffee. ☕️ If you’re a Blue Jays fan, you might be able to relate. Go Jays! 🍁
