September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, recognizing the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the families left behind and the Survivors of these institutions. North Cowichan Pickleball Club celebrates first-ever Fall Ball tournament

The North Cowichan Pickleball Club held its 1st Fall Ball Pickleball Tournament, September 27–28, 2025, at the Cowichan Sportsplex in Duncan. The event welcomed an impressive 130 players from across the Cowichan Valley and Island, with a portion of the proceeds being donated back to the Sportsplex.
